Motion Adsorption Characteristics of Particulate Matter in Water Supply Network

The corrosion of metal pipes within water distribution systems posed great threats towards the quality and safety drinking water. In this study, quantity suspended particles alongside was investigated based on field experiments in a supply plant located Zhengzhou City Henan Province. changes were lab scale through analyzations about suspensions sedimentations using effluents from both conventional deep treatment (ultra-filtration) under different velocity. morphology characterized, indicators, including turbidity ions (i.e., Pb, Zn, Cu, Fe) measured. results revealed that correlation between particle increased proportionally with turbidity, while decreased increasing their size. effluent significantly higher than concerning all tested spontaneously tiny, less 2 µm. leakage related to velocity water, as flowing more finally resulted resolution.
